With 30 years of experience in Mind/Body fitness and teaching and with a reputation both nationally and internationally for being an innovative and intuitive practitioner teacher and presenter Joyce brings fun and humour as well as an eclectic approach to the works of Joseph and Clara Pilates.
Joyce, in a previous sporting incarnation was a National Champion, Irish record holder and International competitor.


She has travelled and educated extensively with various Pilates, Fitness & Therapy Masters in the USA, Canada, Australia, India and UK. She is a successful published author on Pilates and is a regular in both media and on TV.

  • 2003 the first Pilates Audio CD for the Irish Market 
  • 2002 The Book of Pilates was published
  • 2004 Joyce developed the PRS (Pilates Resistance System) for home, rehabilitation and sport specific Pilates training.
  • 2006 she devised and wrote the Integrated Core Training system -for the Core Pilot core training unit - a  unique core training / Pilates resistance device. The unit and training systems was rolled out World Wide.
  • 2009 devised & wrote the first Pilates / Functional Fitness program 'Pink Pilates' for   both Pilates & Fitness Instructors in Ire for the care of the Breast Cancer survivors
  • 2011 The Book of Pilates launched and available in South Africa
  • 2012 developed and launched Met-X-fitness – a unique branded class for weight loss and shape change.
