Today’s big buzz words, Mindfulness, Stress management,
hormone balance / imbalance, reducing your cortisol levels to reduce belly fat
and on and on and on
Today most of us are living on with a permanent ‘fight/flight’
response, as we are surrounded and bombarded by issues, worries, financial, stimulus
[smart phones etc] that cause and add to our stress levels. But unlike our
caveman / woman ancestors who got a rest from the ‘fight / flight’ stimulus we don’t
and as a results are we are suffering many illness’s that are/can be caused by
hormone imbalance.
As Mind Body professionals we know that exercise is one of
the recommendations to combat the effect of stress, however over training,
excessive hard / heavy / cardio training etc – ads to stress on our bodies and ads
to the already viscous circle.
